Golf Courses
"The golf courses are terrific. I like having the chance to play each course because they are so different and help you master different aspects of your game. If I need a little help, the staff and the learning center are great resources to have."
South Golf Course
Under the watchful eye of master-designer Tom Fazio, Mediterra’s South Golf Course features a rolling terrain framed by statuesque pine trees. Here members will find challenging approach shots framed by natural preserve areas and water features that demand accuracy on nearly every shot. Mediterra’s golf club membership is restricted to a total of 225 members per 18 holes of golf.
North Golf Course
The North Golf Course, Tom Fazio’s second championship 18 at Mediterra, features large sand areas that in some cases run the entire length of a hole. This course is characterized by narrow fairways that require accuracy off the tee. From the fairway, members will find the approach shots more forgiving than the South Course. Golfer will also find the Naples Florida scenery of the North Course one of its highlights.
The Golf Learning Center and Short Game Practice
Avid golfers enjoy the convenience of Mediterra’s Golf Learning Center located at the south end of the Club’s double-sided driving range. Members appreciate the enclosed hitting station, with video equipment and a launch monitor for analysis from two different angles. Outside, two open hitting stations provide practice area for long shots and private instruction. The short-game practice area features three greens on approximately 2.5 acres and allows members to replicate shots found through-out the North Course and South courses.
