Mediterra Names New Clubhouse Director

July 18, 2011 -- Mediterra Club General Manager and CEO Tom Wallace has announced that Carmen Mauceri has accepted the position of Director of Clubhouse Operations.  The position includes oversight of all Food & Beverage operations at Mediterra.  Carmen comes to Mediterra from Chagrin Valley Country Club near Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Director of Clubhouse Operations. Earlier in his career, he worked at The Country Club in Cleveland where he was Executive Chef at the time the club was awarded Platinum status.

Carmen is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He has won many culinary and service awards, including the American Culinary Federation Award of Excellence and the Chef D' Cuisine for a Presidential Dinner. He has over 20 years of comprehensive hospitality leadership in premier country clubs, high-end restaurants and corporate restaurant groups. "Carmen is known for building superb teams and for putting a heavy emphasis on top-notch, consistent service," said Wallace.  Carmen will begin immediately spending several days per month with us until he and his wife Kelly officially move to Naples in early September.
